The holidays are finally over. Time to get back into the swing of things. I apologize about the absence from here and other WoW communities that I am apart of. The holidays and I don't agree for many reasons that I will not get into here. But with that being said here is what all I have been up to.
I have on Psychotropic completed Hellfire, Zangermarsh, Terokkar Forrest, with the exception of a few dungeon quests left in each of them. I am now working on to Nagrand and still trying to get my mining up to 305. I know I am slacking on that but its level or mine and personally leveling and questing is more interesting. I am working on it though. I am also still trying to work on fishing and cooking but I seem to be at a part on cooking that is requiring me to fish and to get what I need I have to get my skill over the 200+ mark. I have been doing the Daily BG's and for right now Hellfire quest. I hopefully will uncover more daily's as I get higher in level.
Getting to 70 is what I am looking at so I will be able to run Heroics and get keyed for the upper end zones so I can raid with my guild.

Busy Busy Busy
So yesterdays plans cratered so I spent it playing lots of WoW. I am now up to 62, Did my first IoTS. I was alot of fun I even caped the flag 3x for our side. No one has mentioned my low level in the BG's at the top end. I am generally mid way or higher on the DPS and kill counts so I guess thats why they don't.
I FINALLY GOT MY EPIC MOUNT
I got me the 30/30/30 Reward Epic mount from the Hall of Legends in Oger. I now have my self a black war wolf.
I have completed just about all the hellfire quests and instances, though I have yet to get anything off them for me. Though a few things did drop that I would like. I might go back and forth for a while but I also need to get alot more honor so I can get my Heroic key for them.
I have done several quests for Zangermarsh (sp) working on the outpost quests first and then moving over to the Cenarian quests. Then on to the far outposts. Overall theres alot less ganking in this zone vs what I experienced in Hellfire.

Posting
I know I have not been posting that much as the holidays get closer. I seem to get thrown into overdrive between friends and family. I alos have not been playing as much seeing I am driving everywhere and gods creation.
I have basically been logging in doing a WSG, AB, AV (or at least enough to get 3 marks of each) my Daily Hellfire and thats about it. I have not been leveling just putzing around getting pet skills that I have skipped and what not.

Busy
Between finishing my move up, being sick and a few other things. I have not been able to play all weekend with the exception of jumping on tossing things on the AH and making some money and a few Daily PvP's.
Hellfire: I got this done 1 time this weekend. The other times I asked for people to stop camping the Alliance so I could get mine done and was basically told. No, we need the DMG bonus. I will not get into that conversation here but if you NEED the 5% DMG bonus then you freaking suck. Don't come to me QQ that you cant get something done and need help. Your cockblocking me from being able to complete my quest. IE go take a long walk off a short pier with concrete boots pls thks bye.
WSG at Level 60. I was almost always with in the top 5 of DMG and was told great job by many there and I am 60, the Low man on the totem pole for this one. I was shocked. Anyways. Hopefully more AV/WSG/AB tonight.
I am working on completing a few quest chains in Azeroth and once I get them done I will be able to focus more time in Outlands.

Ok now for the fun stuff
Yes, I finally made it into Outlands. Linked up my flight points from Thrallmar to Shat. That was a fun ride and exploration let me tell you.
Already completed a quest and got a good 2H Axe out of it. Will work on more tonight. I want to get a few quests done out there before I go back to Azeroth and clear out the quest logs of the back log I currently have.
I figure once I get the current logjam cleared out and am working on Hellfire exclusivly for a while I am going to go back to the other starting zones and clear one zone a week of quests that I can get. By the time I am 70 I hope to have all Horde Factions at Exaulted and be able to buy my Epic Flying mount. When I make it to there. I am going to get into Leatherworking. I know I keep pushing back when I will start a real craft but at this time I am just going to horde what resources I have. I am sending stacks of Linnen, Wool, Silk, Mageweave, Runecloth off to my alts so they can train first aid easier, and do the turn in work in all major cities for faction.
I have a method to my madness, I figure I will get my alts working on their tradeskills also Alchemy and Leatherworking for my Shaman, Tailoring and Jewlery for my Lock, not sure what to do with the others at this time. I know I want Leatherworking on my main, but not sure what I want to do for the second profession if I decide to give up Skinning.

Hollidays encroaching
As it comes closer to the hollidays it just gets busier and busier. Friday I was really busy (love the last minuite requests at work). To top it off I went out of town. No network available wireless or otherwise. So I couldn't do anything till I got back into town last night. I got home jumped on the computer and played for about 2 hours. With the rested XP and quests I managed to blow away almost 1/2 a level in that amount of time. I was runing around in Western and Eastern Plaugelands. Got my Argent Dawn factions up to Friendly but I need it to be Honored before I can learn my First Aid. There are so many quests to do I will be in outland before I can complete them all. I am going to drop all the dungeon quests with the exception of 1 hunter quest in the Sunken temple when I make it to 58. If I don't do that or just work on clearing my quest log to where I am only about 1/2 full when I get there I might keep them all and ask for guild help to finish them. I only quest mainly for the EXP and the faction. I am Exaulted with Ogier already with Darkspear not far behind, I want to get all my factions I am able to get up there so if anything needs faction for other things I will not have to worry about it that much when the time comes.

Ugh tis the season to get sick
Yup, thats right. I got the holliday bug. So needless to say I didn't get much done yesterday or the day before. But on a bonus note I did finally make Exaulted in 1 faction. Working on another one now.

Holliday catch up.
I left off on Wednesday, Level 47. I am now 54 and enjoying the goodness of AV. I have completed all the quests for it already and working on improving my trinket that I have recieved. Almost to Revered in just 2 days. We won more often than not, so it was a good weekend.
How did I make 8 levels in 4 days? Well questing of course. Lots of it. I am now at a point that I will have to pug or something to get several quests done.
I am on the Hunter quest that has you go all over Azshera and then to the temple in Swamp of Sorrows. I need to complete several instances that are now grey to me. I need to go back and look over several quests that I skipped when I was going through and do them now that I can solo them since at the time I could not get groups for them.
I logged into my Psychohack also and realised just how bad I did with him as far as spec/money/questing/gear. Totally sucks compared to what I have accomplished with Psychotropic. I am going to have to go back and backfill lots of things with him before I allow him to level any more. I am going to drop leatherworking and bring up mining and skinning so I can actually afford things. Its living and learning I will fix him over time. He was my main but I feel the need to raid.
Since leaving EQ just due to nothing to do at the top end even if your a beastlord except grind AA's continus key/flag farming to unlock the instances to be able to raid with your team. It just really got me down. I know I will have to do it with WoW also but it does not seem nearly as tedious as it is in EQ. I might one day resurect Soriab on Povar and go at it again I don't know though. If I do I know I have a assured place in one of several raiding guilds when I come back.
Anyways Thanksgiving was good, I had 3 dinners yes count them 3. Now I am a tall thin man and eating is something I don't do in excess but how can you turn down Thanksgiving dinner x3. I think I might have gained 1lb through all that. After that I hibernated at home and wow'ed all weekend. It was cold and raining in Dallas so I really didn't fel like going out and shopping on black friday.
All things considered it was a good holliday weekend. Today's agenda is training skills for 54. Getting a few groups together for the instances and completing more quests.
Oh yea before I hit publish. One more thing I need to do. Go get pet skills that I have neglected to get for 10 levels.

Catch up
Yesterday I was feeling under the weather so I didn't go to work. By about noon I was feeling well enough to get out of bed so I got on the computer and loaded up WoW. Started at level 45 most of the way though. Ended at 1/2 way through 47.
I was completing quests all over the place. Hinterlands, Feralas, Un'Goro Crater just to name a few of the places. Trying to flush out the backlog of quests I have has proven interesting as many are chain quests that sometimes lead into instances. Getting a group together to complete the quest and get what you need done in the instance is not that easy. Unfortunately it also means that I am loosing faction that I need to get them up to Exalted. I would really like to get rid of the Raptor I am riding and get a Worg. I know when I get to 60 I can get my elite mount. I really want a Worg. For some reason it just seems better suited to a Hunter.
So now that I am 47 about to be 48 I find my self back at the BG portion of my grind. I am unsure if I want to hold off on what I am able to buy from them and save up for a epic set or get what I need now and grind the epic set when I get there. I am also running into gear issues. I upgraded my ammo pouch for my gun, got a new gun, put a sight on it. The nice Hunter/Engineer that made my sight also gave me 4 stacks of Mithril Gyro-Shot, but I had already bought 10 stacks of Accurate Slugs. But the nice part is the new bag is a 12 slot bag.
I have been neglecting my gear in a bad way. Since I do the Mining and Skinning I need to look into who is a skilled in my Guild and have things made for me. I get things by the stack so I generally have 1~5 stacks of most all leathers and hides on me(in the bank but who cares). Not to mention several stacks of Iron, Steel, Silver, Gold, Mithril, almost able to mine Truesilver and Thorium.
Eventually I will have one main thats 70 that is able to supply my alts with what they need to level and skill up to where I want them to be. My eventual goal is a alt that is high enough to take over that and allow my main to move into a craft or 2. Not sure what I want to do as a craft at this time though. I know 1 will be leather working so I can make my own armors. The second one though I am on a wall with. As a engineer I can make things like ammo and if the rumors are true soon to be arrows and possibly bows. Or I can do Enchanting, this will enable me to twink my alts and my self and others in the guild. Cause gods know no one really donates well to a chanter. I paid the person that made me the scope 5g and 2 bars of truesilver that I had from the purchase on the AH.

Fun weekend
What can I say. It was a very fun weekend. Made it to level 44. Completed loads of quests from all over. Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, Hinterlands, Dustwallow Marsh, Even got the new flight point and did all the chain quests in Dustwallow.
Tough I did have to have a GM help me on one. It was dealing with the Ogers in the swamp and the dragons taking over. The final part is planting a banner and fighting a named dragon just outside Onyxia's lair. Well I got there and he was up. But he wouldn't activate no matter how many times I planted the banner. So I got a GM to despawn him and it worked as intended.
I have finally left the realm of earning silver for completion of quests and am now into earning gold. It will help some and I might be able to start a profession now. I do Skinning and Mining as a way to earn money. Along with selling Green and Blue drops from world and instance runs. But at the rate I am leveling I am not sure I will be able to save up what I need to begin crafting. I know I will be working on leather working first so I can build my own armor. From there I am not sure what I want to do. There are allot of possibilities. I am thinking of enchanting so I can apply buffs to things that I want with out having to have help from others.
I finally got Arcane Shot (Rank 6) PvP'ers beware I will remove your buffs now. This will help out allot in both PvE and PvP. I do not like being hit by flame shields or things like that.

Finally
Made 40 last night. Did some questing and BG's. I got me a Raptor mount. Not really sure what I think about that, I think I am going to get the faction to get a Worg from the Ogers. For some reason that just seems to fit a hunter better.
I thought it was interesting in the 40's bg's. Alot of the people I was in there with were very rude on the Horde side. I finally had to tell one that if he didn't like what was going on and kept complaining to leave the BG or keep his mouth shut. Every few seconds it was complaints about something over and over and over again.
I had a few comments about my level when I joined the BG that I ignored. I ended up with the most kills and the highest DPS for the horde, and the 3rd highest in healing. I immideatly rejoined after that BG and had a few whispers telling me thanks for the good job on keeping every Alliance dead that came near the fortress in WSG. I also got similar results in AB.
I did find to my dismay that for some reason I was thinking that I could go to AV at 40. I definatly deluded my self. Its 51? I don't know not really worried about it. All I know is its a minimum of 10 levels away and much gear and talents purchased from here to there. With the increase to how fast we are leveling now doing Quests I find I am unable to keep up 2 pets. I guess I will let my other pets go for now and keep learning all the skills I can to make sure that when I get to 70 I can get the pets I want and train them in all the skills I need. This is barring that by the time I get to 70 I wont be in a head long rush to 80 along with everyone else.

Fun story
While reading Outland-Bound I was reminded of a PUG I was on this weekend. I am running around leveling to 38 Friday night so I can BG's to my hearts content Saturday and Sunday to get marks for gear. I get invited by a tank that I have grouped with to good results with before. So I decide to stop what I am doing and go to the other end of the continent for Scarlet Monastery. We start out with the Cathedral, now I have soloed in there to good effect if I am very careful and manage my crowd control properly, now I can't get past the first CY solo but theres good exp to be had and deacent cash and gear for the trash drops.
So we get there and get going. Group is as follows, Tank, Rogue, Mage, Priest(Holy), Hunter(Me). We clear the first hall to the CY and get ready to go in. I am trying to keep up with pulls and marks but its about futile, we are killing to fast and moving too much. We get into the CY and start the mass slaughter no less than 3 to 5 mobs in camp every pull so for me its pet on one, I'm on another and every time its up Multi-Shot. The mage isnt even bothering with CC we have too many AE's going off (moslty his) and the mobs are falling over fast. My hardest thing was to have CS ready to snare the runners as we were killing so fast we could have 2 or 3 at a time. One pull we have 2 and I pop off with Multi-Shot and I see 3 shots leave me heading out. I started to freak out cause I didnt see the mob that the 3rd shot was going for. Then I saw the impact and the name it hit. It was one of the 5hp critters that was under the tanks feet. Poor bunny didnt stand a snow balls chance in hell aginst my dps. CRIT(200) poped up from the little bunny. I started laughing my arse off on that one. The Mage and Priest saw the shot and labeled me bunny killer for the instance.
The rest of the run went about like the first, high DPS plow fest. We managed in 2 hours to clear Cathedral, Armory, and 1/2 of Library we only went for the beastmaster.

Wow what a weekend.
I played almost non stop this last weekend. But I am not 40 yet. Why you ask? BATTLE GROUNDS :)
I spent a good long time this weekend working WSG and AB. I got the 38 meele ring, Dagger, Neck, I got the sword but completed a quest that had a better one so I don't have it equiped at this time. I took some screen shots of some of the battles at the end. I was topping the charts in KB's, HK's, DMG, and some time deaths as I tried a few insane tactics to stop the Alliance from doing things.
Yesterday aside from being busy as all get out with work. Gotta love Mondays. I quested my way through a few new places and lots of old ones. Hinterlands, Alterac Mountians, Hillsbrad, Alterac Highlands. Made it all the way through 38 and 75% of the way through 39. It will be a short trip to 40 when I log in and get my mount. I wanted to make 40 before the patch but didn't quite hit the mark. But I got really close.
Well, more later I still have to finish work for the day.

Not much to report
Got on Psychotropic and completed a few quests before going out last night. Cleared all the double exp he had and earned some regular exp. Did alot of mining and fishing and cooking to raise skills and earn money for the up coming mount.
For some reason today I am not able to think that well, might have something to do with going out and not getting much sleep last night. Other than that I plan on a long grind session tonight and tomorrow in the PvP to get more marks, at 49. Want to get to 100 before I get to level 38 and if I go start questing again I will be there really fast.
I want to make it to 40 and get my mount before the 2.3 patch comes out. That is what my goal on this character is. I am going to start working more with Psychohack some next week but he is also in the BG's right now earning marks and honor. I will have to see what I can do about making some money on him though so I can keep up with repairs and arrows.
For some reason today I am not able to think that well, might have something to do with going out and not getting much sleep last night. Whats been going on.
Well, its been busy at work and outside of work. So I apologize about the last 2 days. I have been comparing my Horde to my Alliance character and have come to some large disparities. They are now the same level. If you look up you will see them right off in the Hit points and the Mana. Both are 4 levels from 40 and getting their mount. My Horde character has been massively active on the AH with his skinning/mining while my Alliance has been making leather armor. The difference is one has made and spent close to 300 gold and has Neitherweave bags in all slots on him and the bank slots opened and filled with them. The Alliance has made about 30g total and only has 8/10 slot world drop bags and almost no bank slots opened up. Since these are both my mains on their respective servers and my Alliance one was the first toon created I made some glaring mistakes with him and the ability to flourish. I think its time to fix a few problems with him. Like dropping Leather working till I get higher in levels. Run WSG/AB like crazy for the 38/40 gear. Farm leather/ore and get his mining up to 200. Once I get each one their mounts and training done we will see whats going on.
Patch 2.3 goes live this coming Tuesday (hopefully), bringing with it lower exp requirements. More exp for completing quests. Almost complete removal of the "Dead Zone" for hunters (Hello PVP DPS Boost.) and a whole host of other changes. I am looking forward to this and see what these changes do to the game.
So leveling will be slow over the next few days as I get both of them to 100 marks from WSG and AB to gear out with better gear. Complete a few more quests and raise skills on both of them as best as I can. Hopefully I can have both of them at 100 marks from both of these BGs by Tuesday and at level 40 so I can train Mail and get all the goodness that comes with much better armor ratings. I have heard and seen the other people have fun wise in AV so I will jump in when I get the ability to do that just so I can see what its like from both sides. I know I will be low man on the totem as far as gear and level goes in them. But I think it will be fun. Besides I need to keep all their marks as high as I can so when the new gear opens up from the BG's as I level I will be able to buy it to fill the holes that I might have.
One thing I know I need to do is take Psychohack to STV and complete the whole series of "Panther, Tiger, Raptor Mastery & Big Game Hunter" from there.

Move successful
Ok, got about 90% moved will get the last 10% and storage cleared out over the next few days. RL aside back to the hunters.
So with limited play time this week I decided to load up on quests and knock out as many as I could. Desolace and Stranglethorn. Got 3 completed in Desolace and 5 completed in Stranglethorn. I plan on finishing Panther and Raptor chains tonight if I have the time. That should also throw me up to level 36. The Alliance loves to find people engaged in combat in Stranglethorn. Now I am not adverse to being beat down if I let my guard down. But I have no defense from a level ??. That happened about 6 times. I lost 2 encounters to a few Alliance that were of higher level 8 to be exact. But took down 5 others that were higher level than me. One of the ones I lost was against a 44 Lock. I would have won the encounter if I had him targeted instead of his pet. I killed the pet but lost most of my main burst of DPS to the pet instead of the lock. By the time the pet was dead and I went after the Lock I was down to about 400 HP and he was only down about 1/3 I got him to about 10% before I died but still. I lost to not paying attention. I originally had him targeted and ran on past and decided to sneak up on him after I had ran on for a while and he dropped as my target. But when I went to re-target I didn't do so well.

Pet Skills
Was caught up just before I logged out last night. But I ding'ed 32. Now I have to go get Dash and I think a few more. Some might think that going and getting all the skills is a waste of time. I don't think so personally. If for some reason I want a different pet I would have to go backtrack and learn all these skills just to make my pet be 100%. This way I will not have to worry about it later in the game. It is also one of the reasons that I am working factions right now also.
Ok now on to the interesting parts of yesterday. Hillsbrad Foothills and the what looked and felt like the prepetual raiding of Tauren Mills by the Alliance. I don't know if the level 70's from our side were raiding Southshore or not cause I don't see those alearts. What I do know is that about every 20 minuites there seemed to be some or several level 70 Alliance going through town slaughtering everything. The annoying part of it was all the quest dealers and the stable master was dead.
Other than that I trained my level 32 skills and leveled the Enraged Ravager I got. The only thing about him I am even mildly annoyed with is his diet, (Meat, Raw Meat). Yup just those 2 things. And I am running out of meat where as with my cats I can feed them the product of my fishing.
Tonight I don't think I will be playing much or even this weekend as I will be moving. It shouldn't take me long to move, its more the orginization once the move is over that is going to take time. But also now that I am 30 I have to look into getting new gear so I can continue to grind out the levels. I have had the gear I have now for almost 10 levels some longer. So here I go off into the realm of Itemization and determining what will work for the next 5~10 levels. But since 2.3 is comming out in a few days levels will be flying by faster as I quest alot. So keeping in gear will become a larger issue till I get into the 50's or to 60. Just due to the fact that I will be leveling so fast my gear will go out of level range faster with less work. I hope Bilzzard took that into account when they make this change.

Gaming on Halloween
No I didn't get out and go trick-or-treat'ing. I did however go out clubbing and see alot of my friends. Other than that, I was working on obtaining pet abilities. I managed to get several of them. I need to get deeper into WC and get Poision Spit from there. I have a few more zones to get to and learn skills from. I made level 31 also. But that was when a friend asked me to go on a Razorfen Kraul (RFK) instance run with him. Unfortunatly I didn't get to complete the instance cause our priest had to leave. Hopefully I can make 32 tonight and also get Dash.
Aside from getting all the pet skills I plan on taking a chunk out of my quest load in Hillsbrad. I figure that after I complete those chains and get into Desolace and STV I will be some where in the upper 30's if not 40.

Backtracking
Occasionally as you grind, quest, pug your way through the levels you find you need to backtrack to complete things that you missed while you were going through. From the hunter prespective this is time consuming. Putting pets in the stable running around learning skills that you didn't get the first time through. I spent most all of last night doing this. I call it one the necessary evils of the class. I know I am still not done, theres many places I have yet to go to fill out all my pet abilities that I am able to get at 30. I know it sounds odd but I want them all. That way any pet I decide to pick up in the future will have all the skills available to him to learn. Also you have to look at your factioning. This will mean completing low level intro quests from other starting zones. Being s Troll I mitigate some of that by being able to faction Ogerimar and Darkspear at the same time. Ratchet comes with the barrens and Straglethorn Vale quests. Unfortunatly this makes it difficult to do all the quests necessary to level Undercity and Silvermoon factions. I will be going back and doing those a few at a time. Right now I am loaded up with Hillsbrad quests and will get all of them done first. Then I will move on to Stranglethorn and Barrens quests.
Yes I know this will take longer but I would rather get them out of the way now while I am still lower in level than do them later when I am trying to get things done in Outland. I am going to try and complete all the quests as I level. I do know that this is going to be almost impossible at some points due to no one working some instances though. Those I will decide as I go through as to if I keep them or not. Doing this does many things. Keeps me busy for one. Allows me to connect all my flight paths. Explore every zone I am able to and get the maps opened up. I have most of the Azuremyst and Bloodmyst Isle's. As many of you know your faction can do many things for you. Reducing costs in a city to being able to ride different mounts. Anyways back to the pets.
After running all over the place I have got me a new PvP pet. Enraged Ravager from Bloodmyst. Now all I need to do is level him up and train him as the points come available. I am also thinking of replacing my current Lion with the Ghost from the top of Darkshore's Ruins of Mathystra by opening the cat figurines found on the ground. I know many of the skills are not able to be learned till higher levels like Dash 32. But that will not stop me from making sure that any level pet I have will be able to use a skill I have for it. Also while all this is going on I am making sure I keep up with my weapon skills. I think the only skills I have completly put off so far is Crossbow's, Thrown, and to a lesser extent Cooking and Fishing. I am working on fishing but its not what I am focused on at this time.
